The Performance Management Group (PMG) of the West Berkshire Partnership is a sub-group of the main Management Board and as such derives its role, remit and responsibilities from that body.
The Group can:
- make recommendations to the Management Board and to partner organisations regarding the work of the partnership and progress in meeting agreed targets and outcomes as set out in the Sustainable Community Strategy, LAAs and other strategies and plans of the partnership;
- request information in pursuance of the agreed targets and outcomes; and
- request that officers and other responsible persons attend its meetings.
What are the Group's objectives?
The objectives of the Performance Management Group are:
- to develop effective, efficient and robust performance data collection and;
- to develop reporting systems, ensuring that performance information is collected, monitored, reported and managed across the sub-partnerships and various constituent organisations of the West Berkshire Partnership;
- to identify and challenge areas where targets are not being met;
- to ensure that robust action plans are in place to address poor performance;
- to identify areas where investment in under-performing areas and targets will produce significant improvements;
